Social Programme

We have in place a social programme as part of the conference to give a taste of Glasgow and of Scotland.

This includes:

Sunday 6 June 2010 Welcome Reception and whisky tasting experience

Monday 7 June 2010 Civic Reception at Glasgow Science Centre

Tuesday 8 June 2010 Conference Dinner and Ceilidh (Caller-assisted Scottish dancing)

In addition, Scotland in June is a great place to visit. Accompanying guests and delegates have a wealth of exciting prospects to visit before, during, and after the conference.

Glasgow has the heritage of the art nouveau designer and artist Rennie Mackintosh as well as a number of excellent other museums to visit, and within easy travelling distance there’s Loch Lomond, Stirling, the Trossachs, and Edinburgh, to name but a few popular destinations.
